Getting Started

Download AI Budget Assistant and create your account in under a minute. Set your preferred currency and language, and start tracking your finances right away.

Creating Your Account

1. Open the app and tap Sign Up
2. Enter your Full Name (at least 2 characters)
3. Enter your Email address
4. Create a Password (minimum 8 characters, must include an uppercase letter A-Z, a lowercase letter a-z, and a number 0-9)
5. Confirm your password
6. Select your preferred Currency (USD, EUR, PLN, GBP, UAH, RUB, or BYN)
7. Select your preferred Language (English, Deutsch, Espanol, Francais, Polski, Русский, Українська, or Беларуская)
8. Tap Create Account
9. Check your email for a 6-digit verification code
10. Enter the code in the app and tap Verify

Faster: Continue with Google. On the Sign Up screen, tap Continue with Google and choose your Google account — your account is created instantly (no email verification code needed) and you’re signed straight in. You can change your currency and name later in Settings.

Signing In

1. Open the app and tap Sign In
2. Enter your Email and Password
3. Tap Sign In

Sign in with Google

On the Sign In screen, tap Continue with Google and pick your Google account. If you already registered with the same verified email, your Google account is linked automatically and you’re signed in.

Biometric Login

After your first login, you can use biometric authentication (Face ID or fingerprint) for quick access:

1. On the login screen, tap Use Face ID / Use Fingerprint
2. Authenticate with your device’s biometric sensor
3. You’re in!

Forgot Password

If you forgot your password:

1. On the login screen, tap Forgot password?
2. Enter your Email address and tap Send Code
3. Check your email for a 6-digit code (valid for 30 minutes)
4. Enter the code, your New Password, and confirm it
5. Tap Reset Password
6. You’ll be redirected to the login screen — sign in with your new password

If you don’t receive the code, check your spam folder or tap Resend code.

Welcome Screen

After your first login, you’ll see the Welcome screen:

• Your free plan includes:
• 50 AI requests per month
• 3 personal accounts
• 1 member
• Full expense tracking
• Tap Continue with Free to start, or explore upgrade options

First Steps After Login

1. Your Personal account is created automatically
2. Go to Settings to customize your profile, timezone, and appearance
3. Add your first expense from the Dashboard using the quick action buttons
4. Set up a monthly budget in the Budgets tab

Navigation Overview

The app has 5 main tabs at the bottom of the screen:

Additional navigation: - Account switcher — tap the account name (top-left) to switch between accounts - Settings — tap the gear icon (top-right) to access settings - Tactile feedback — tapping a tab produces a light vibration on supported devices, so you know your tap was registered - Loading indicator — a thin progress bar at the very top of the screen appears while the app is fetching or syncing data
