Family Feed
An activity feed for shared accounts showing what everyone added, grouped by person and day, with emoji reactions.
The Family Feed is a shared activity stream for family and couple accounts. It shows what each member has been spending and earning, and lets you react with emoji — making shared finances feel collaborative.
What appears in the feed
- Expenses — grouped by member and day. If a member adds 3 expenses on the same day, they appear as one card (“3 expenses · 120 USD”).
- Incomes — same grouping as expenses.
- Purchase requests — each proposal, approval, and purchase appears as its own card.
The feed only appears for shared accounts (family, couple, business). Personal accounts do not have a feed.
Home widget
The Family Feed widget on the home screen shows the 3 most recent activity cards. Tap Show all to open the full feed.
You can show or hide the widget in Settings → Widgets.
Full feed screen
Tap Show all or navigate to the Family Feed screen to see the complete history. Pull down to refresh. The feed reloads automatically when you switch accounts.
Reacting with emoji
Every card has a reaction bar. Tap ＋ to open the emoji picker and choose from:

Tap your own emoji to remove your reaction. Tap a different emoji to change it — only one reaction per person per card.
All members (including viewers) can react.
Tapping a card
- Single expense or income card — tap to open the expense or income detail screen.
- Grouped card (multiple on same day) — tap Show details to expand the list, then tap an individual row to open it.
- Purchase request card — tap to open the purchase request detail screen.
Privacy
The feed shows activity from all members of the shared account. There is no option to hide individual transactions from the feed in v1.
Merchants and descriptions are intentionally omitted from feed cards (they may be encrypted on your device). Cards show amount and currency only.
